of Popcorn & Macarons
on the left: Popcorn from Garrets. I bought the medium sized pack of Chicago Mix popcorn, which is priced at RM21. The popcorn is high in flavour - hence the steep price. The first few bites were nice but after awhile I cannot eat it anymore because it was too sweet. Popcorn beli kat GSC jelah lol.  on the right: Macarons bought at Molten Lava. one piece for RM3.30. I bought salted caramel,...

At the Immigration Museum. A must go to anyone who is interested to know more about the immigration history of Australia.  Koko Black - a delicatessen famous for chocolate treats.  Grampians National Park - Australia’s National Park. Brambuk is located in the park and is managed by the Aborigines.  Soaps sold at Victoria Market! The place looks like a typical ‘pasar’....

Went for my usual jog this morning. I saw a crushed snail and another snail sitting next to it. I kneeled down and stroked the other snail to check whether it is alive or not. A sudden shudder of its body confirmed that it was indeed alive. It looks so sad just sitting there next to its dead friend. I continued to jog for another two rounds and checked on the snails again. It was still...

National Gallery of Victoria (NGV)
The NGV is an art gallery in Melbourne. They display an array of art from eastern and western parts of the world and from different time centuries. Mostly paintings are on display but they have a few sculptures and artifacts aswell. If you aren’t a fan of art, a visit to NGV might be a bore but I believe that everyone should visit art galleries when traveling to a foreign country as to...

Chocolateria San Churro
I guess that the closest definition to chocolateria is a chocolate shop! When we were in Melbourne, we paid a visit to Chcolateria San Churro. Their speciality here is the churros, hence the name, San Churro. We ordered: 1) 6 pieces of churros with milk chocolate dip and dark chocolate dip. 2) Affagato (ice cream dipped in hot expresso) 3) Chilli chocolate drink (this was amazing. my throat...

Was on holiday for 10 days in Melbourne with the family. It was just an okay holiday destination in my opinion. This minor letdown for me was due to Australia not having alot of history and culture (apart from the Aborigines heritage). Apart from that, the scenery was very tropical and sandy along the way. Plus, it was very repetitive. Its the same scenery everywhere. lol.  I enjoyed the churros!...

Things I Love doing: 1) Discovering new books/authors 2) Watching malay dramas 3) Listening to songs from musicals 4) Following routine. eg having a cup of coffee after every dinner 5) Eating. I really appreciate good food. It doesn’t have to be gourmet for it to be good. Even a simple burger across the street can taste good if cooked correctly.  6) Watching cute + cuddly animal...

Laduree, Harrods London
I went to visit Iqa in London and we had tea at Laduree, Harrods. The nearest tube station to Harrods is Knightsbridge via the Picadilly Line.  The Laduree tearoom is located at the lower ground floor of the building. The placed is crowded with rich Arabs and we were just gawking at how beautiful some of them were. We basically gossiped the entire time about the other patrons around us! Hey, can’t...

I tweeted about learning about the story of the wind and the sun. This story was told by my ethics lecturer. So here is the story.  Enjoy.   One day, there is a man walking down a street. The sun and the wind took a bet to see which one of them can make the man take of his jacket first.  The wind started of the challenge and blew as hard as it could causing the man on the street to hold on to his...

Imma talk about macarons today! Not to be confused with macaroons, the one which is meringue like and has a coconut taste to it. These are normally sold in supermarkets like ASDA & Sainsbury’s in the UK.   Ok, back to the original topic. From what Ive read, macarons originate from France and the way to make it is very delicate which is why it is massively pricey! Hence, I don’t buy it very...

Ramadhan is here.  Am such a fattie in the afternoon. Eating + watching the telly + reading + sleeping I sort of make up for my sloth ways by performing terawikh prayers at the masjid at night. Alhamdulillah for that. Have yet to read the Quran though since Ramadhan started (chillax, baru hari ketiga kut!). InsyaAllah will start soon.  Also, for some reason, I am unable to login to my...

I remembered an incident which happened last year this time around in Lancaster, quite a scary thing for me indeed. I haven’t told anyone except for my seniors and Nana because I met them the very next day! well this is what happened, I was walking from Central back to my house when this other guy with his friend started talking to me. He was African I believe. I haven’t even seen him...

I had my bday yesterday (10th May 2011) whereby I had to sit for my very first exam paper.  Just wanna say a million thanks to my parents and my sister who wished me and who are constantly praying for my success and well-being. They are the pillars of my strength, no doubt about that. My parents are just super awesome for never pressuring me during exams but they are there to support me and calm...
